My 2 special things

After a while creating only mixed media canvases, I finally created few LO and this is one of them.
The LO is based on Prima products (that I love so much!) and full of layers and dimensions. The girls and the tree are from the Romantique collection, I just cut it from the paper and distressed it a little, and then I attached it with 3D foam adhesive.



Under the photo there are two layers of paper and a lace on the right side, between them.



I also cut few birds from the Lineage paper (songbird collection) and glue them to the top of the tree.

Snow boy

Snow is rare thing here in Israel. We have a very short winter and during this time it only sometimes get snowy in Jerusalem or up in the north. This year it was a bit different, it was a very rainy winter and the high mountains got a lot of snow.
my family and me scheduled this trip to the north few weeks before and we were happy when the meteorologist announced that it is going to be a stormy weekend and very snowy in the north. We packed coats, gloves, scarfs and wool hats and went to our trip. On Friday we didn't find any snow (and believe me we looked very hard for it) but on Saturday it was a celebration! The snow started to come down in the morning and just keep coming down all day.
For Omri and Noam it was the first time to see snow and play with it and the just loved it!

I used Creative Scrappers Sketch #206 for this LO:

This is Omri in the photo throwing snow balls on everyone.

The papers are from MME collections and the flowers are Prima.

Blossom in Everyway

This Lo is a continuance to the previous Lo. The pictures here are from the same set of photos that my brother took of me last month.
After a set of serious photos I started fooling around, dancing and jumping (it is hard for me to stay serious for long time…) and this is what came out.
I used Prima's collection Sun Kiss: the papers, some of the flowers, Lace and Crystals Border and others Prima's products.

Feeling Free

This month we celebrated Passover, the holiday that indicate going from slavery to freedom, we also celebrated Israel's Independence Day. These two holidays just symbolizes my feelings these days after last 10 month that were a bit complicated and I can finally breathe and feel free.

On Passover, my brother took few photos of me in a field near our parent's home and this photo express the feeling of freedom.

I created the LO according to this Sketch I designed for a Sketch challenge in our scrapbooking forum:

I used few new products in this LO. For background and Die Cut paper I used Bo Bunny's Country Garden collection, for the Die Cut I used Lucky 8 Border punch (Tatted Doily) from We R Memory Keepers and to emphasis the doily I used Pan Pastel colors around it.

Natural Beauty

It happen to me sometimes that I catch Noam in a special moment, where the light and shadows are falling on the right places, and she looks amazing. This photo is one of these moments. I took it on April Last year, when we went for a walk on the boardwalk in Jaffa, by the sea.

The manager of the Scrapbook forum in Israel asked me to make a monthly sketch challenge for the forum members, so this is the sketch I designed:

Beside the paper, that is Glitz, all other products I used are Prima.

I am cute

You already know how much Omri loves chocolate and how in a mysterious way he keep spreading it all over his face and body, so here is another example.

These photos were lying on my working table for a while now, just waiting for the right moment to come so I will use them in a LO.

This moment has arrived in a shape of Prima's BAP for March.
I created this Lo at the same time that I created the mixed media canvases, so you can see a little influence of those techniques on this LO.

All the materials I used are from Prima, starting with the paper and until the last pearl. This is the reason I love working with Prima's products, beside of course the fact that they are absolutely amazing….

Sip of Nature

I made a webinar few weeks ago on how to work with sketches, how you can create few different layouts from one sketch.

This is one of the layouts I created for the webinar.
Few month ago we went to a family vacation in the desert of Israel and on our way we stopped for a break, to eat and drink something. The truth is that it wasn't a special place, just a regular place on the road but in this photo the feeling is that Noam (my girl) is in some magical forest.
This background paper of Webster's pages was perfect for the photo's mood and the flowers on the paper fit together with the flowers on the photo so they become a part of the photo itself and that's what I loved about it.

Beauty over the age

This LO I created using creative scrappers sketch #186.

I love very much the Times & Seasons collection from Echo Park and it went perfect with this photo of my mom from my brother's wedding 2 years ago.
I just love this turquoise color!
The basic paper is Glitz and I also used  a lot of flowers and embellishments from Prima.

one moment in time

Time is build from a lot of little moments, some ordinary and some very special and there are some moments that only the camera can capture because they are gone very fast and sometimes we miss them.
This picture of Noam (my baby) and Shani (my niece) is an example of that special moment that only the camera can capture and we can't see them while they're happening.
This photo was taken more then 6 years ago, when Noam was only 3 month old and Shani was about 6.5 years old. Each time I look at that photo I feel the special energy that come out from it, the special contemplative look on their eyes, the smile that can hardly show on Shani's mouth, the light that fall on Noam's forehead like it is light of angels.

I already made a LO for this photo when I was doing my first stapes in scrapbooking, but like many others photos from that time, she was waiting too for rescrap and I waited a long time for the right moment, and the right moment is the right paper, right element or the right sketch.

This time it was the right sketch.

This is the December BAP sketch on Prima's blog, a beautiful sketch that made me take my hand and pull this photo from the pile of photos and work with her.

Blessed

 

Another LO for my pregnancy album. 
This time the photo is of my big belly and I created the LO using Prima's November BAP.
I have already enough pages to the album and it's time to start thinking about the whole album, what kind of album to use, which cover, ext. Actually, with every LO I create my desire to build the cover myself is growing, so I think eventually that's what I'll do.

November BAP was so beautiful and I felt that it can fit my pregnancy album and especially this photo. As you can see, I hardly changed the sketch and just went along with it.

All the products I used are Prima, beside the wide ribbon.
